MAINTENANCE MANAGER, Salisbury, MD
Preventative and predictive repair programs
Inspections, service check-lists, works orders and repair schedules
Ensures that repairs are carried out in a cost efficient and timely manner
Maintains accurate, up to date service records for each major piece of equipment.
Floor level support to detect, evaluate, or resolve any malfunction with production equipment
Improves technical processes and standards
Ensure overall safety of the plant
Oversee integrity of the ammonia system.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the electrical systems
Executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies. Responsibilities include hiring and training employees, assigning and directing work, performance reviews,and disciplining employees
Lead maintenance & reliability continuous improvement plan.
Lead Kaizen events on equipment to improve performance
Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance programs.
Maintain facility/production line conditions in order to meet established GMPs/HAACP, Food Safety Regulations, and Aseptic processes.
Ensure processes meet or exceed government requirements under FDA, OSHA, GMP, EPA, etc.
Manages Maintenance Department spending
Collaborate with all plant functional managers to insure production needs and changes can be met
Performs other duties as assigned
Experience and Education:
Experience in aseptic processing within a food manufacturing and packaging environment
Strength in electronics, controls, hydraulics, mechanical and electrical components found in food manufacturing machinery as well as proper safety standards for food production equipment.
Strong PLC programming
Demonstrated hands on experience with installation, technical and repairs of manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Demonstrated problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills.
Previous experience with instilling and executing plant safety programs
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to lead Kaizen events to identify Root Cause and Corrective Action to improve equipment and line reliability.
Ability to identify, create, lead, and train others in Continuous Improvement processes
