Job Description
Position:   Global Client Director
 
Position Overview:
 
The Global Client Director will have overall responsibility for the growth of business expanding existing accounts and landing net new customers.  This role will have primary responsibility for adding new “logo” while collaborating and coordinating with regional leads to expand and cross-sell within existing customers.
 
We are seeking an experienced market research executive who has a proven track record of leading, building and actual selling to the Global Automotive industry.  This is a player / coach role that requires real, hands-on selling to show how it should be done, and building out a robust selling team of HUNTERs to augment an existing FARMER team.
 
Position Responsibilities:
 
Relationships:
  • Must have great relationships with Economic Buyers and Key Influencers in our core domains:
    • CX (Customer Experience Management) for Automotive and near Auto (e.g., Insurance, Fleet, Body Shop Repair, etc.)
    • VX (Vehicle Experience) which tends to be purchased by Product Quality, Product Manufacturing, R&D / Product Development and After-sales groups like Warranty Management
 Numbers:
  • Proven quota achievement (concrete examples of quota and achievement)
  • Proven ability to accurate forecast and deliver on plan
  • Proven, methodical operational process and discipline in driving the pipeline from opportunity to “Closed/WON”
  • Structured process to effectively manage and grow a pipeline while working with the regional leadership, customer success and management teams
  • Experience in executing sales using sales tools, multi-channel sales and scaling sales organizations
 Domain Experience:
  • SaaS Software sales – demonstrated expertise in selling SaaS software and wrap-around professional services (e.g., consulting and analytics) selling value; creating compelling solutions that drive the need for purchase urgency
  • Need to be a hands-on Sales Leader who knows the Global Automotive markets
  • Deep understanding of the CX and VX markets, who the competition is, strengths/weaknesses and recommendations on partners to increase “Sell with” and “Sell thru” activities
  • Exceptional working knowledge of the entire Customer Relationship Management (CRM) space including CX, VX, Feedback Management and Journey Mapping

Requirements:
  • Proficient in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Google Sheets
  • Demonstrates mastery in individual and group presentations, including skills as effective moderator
  • Travel; Position involves 40%-60% travel (both domestic and international) throughout the year to customers, prospects, partners and industry events
 Education:
BS, BSCS, or equivalent or equivalent experience
 
Required Experience:
10 years in Automotive Software and Services Sales with demonstrated career progression and increased responsibility
