TITLE: Registered Nurse, RN Emergency Department

Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Unit Director, perform nursing patient care duties for the assigned unit or department.
Plan, provide, and evaluate total nursing care in accordance with the established patient care philosophy.
Facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
Relate effectively with other shifts for continuity of care, maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units; and participate in all phases of education.
Must be a RN
Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must be able to obtain a valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Must have six (6) months of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a direct patient care setting.
Shifts will be 12 hour shifts. Openings are on different shift and these are the shifts:
The person will work every other weekend.
The ED has 41 beds consisting of Main ED, Behavioral Health, Intermediate care area and triage and minor care.
Averaging around 70K patients yearly.
Great relationship with physicians and the overall team works well together.
Looking for someone that is a team player, hard worker and can smile in the midst of chaos.
The starting range is $23.00 an hour and goes up with experience.
Shift differentials are:Weekends: 2.50, Nights: 3.00, Night/Weekends: 7.50
Facility does offer a 10K sign-on bonus and excellent benefit package.
