North American Recruiting and Staffing Agency is looking for a Business Development Professional to develop new business within the F1000 or SMB market within the United States. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of developing new business, researching, qualifying and closing new contracts, SOWs, and accounts for both permanent and contract staffing engagements.   This can be a national or a regional role and will depend on the selected candidate's  experience and Book of Business.  Must be very business savvy, a strong ability to qualify REAL and immediate as well as long term business opportunities.   In this role you will establish new clients, as well as grow business within the accounts you close. 

  • Must be a proven HUNTER with business acumen and a high degree of professionalism
  • Must have a passion for services sales, a hunger for high levels of success, and a drive to succeed
  • Must be able to develop relationships at the Executive level (CxO, VP, level) (and work with HR)
  • Must have strong qualifying skills and be able to evaluate if potential clients WANT to hire or are just kicking tires
  • Exceptional Negotiation skills
  • Able to work well in a team - working with our lead recruiters, and customers
  • Solid Relationship building skills
  • Ability to work remotely and be effective

The idea candidate will have a sales background with a strong track record of building and leveraging relationships and networks.  S/he will be adept at flushing out new business opportunities, establishing relationships with key decision makers, presenting value propositions and working with the recruiting and staffing teams to demonstrate our capabilities, negotiating terms, closing contracts, and where necessary acting as a liaison with the customer, and looking for additional business opportunities in staffing and placement.  We are ARE looking for someone who is persistent, professional and MONEY MOTIVATED!  The Our idea candidate will have experience in any of the following areas & industries:

This is a commission only position with unlimited earning potential. You will complete an I9 or 1099 and be responsible for your own benefits. 

Target earnings:  $100,000 - $500,000+    You are paid once the client's check clears!  (We'd love someone who hits the $1M mark!)

Example of possible targets: 
  • Permanent Full Time Hires:  
    • Closing new contracts /SOWs for 10 new mid to Sr. level full time positions that are filled, your annual earnings should range between $65,000-100,000+
    • Closing new contracts /SOW for 10 Executive level full time positions that are filled, your earnings should range between $120,000 - $200,000+
  • Contract / Contract to Perm Hires:
    • Each contract/ SOW will vary based on rates and terms negotiated with the new client. 

Additional Information:
Sales cycles Expectations:  Sales Cycles can vary.  In your role you will be evaluating the hunger of the client. The following are not absolutes but a typical sales cycle. Some may move faster, some slower. Client's hiring team interview schedule is usually what sets the pace for the job intake to close sales cycle.  
  • MId to Sr. Level Roles Permanent FT Hires:  In most cases, mid to senior level positions can take anywhere from 6 weeks (if clients are moving fast) to 3 months to close. 
  • Executive Level roles: Typically 3-6 months to close
  • Contract Roles:  Typically 1-4 weeks to close
